Dear Worries

Dear Worries

How have you been? Since we’ve gone our separate ways, you’re no longer a pain in my arse. Respectively my head. Though I noticed you still show up occasionally. Sort of an unannounced guest. The unpleasant kind. To be frank, I’ve got used to listening to your rubbish every now and then for a couple of minutes. But after a while I have to ask you kindly to fuck off. Don’t take it personal. It’s just that you and I don’t have what it takes to be friends. Nevertheless I hope you’re well.

Have nice a day.

Your ex Mind

Prepared to be wrong

A lot of what is said about success in business, in particular how to achieve success, is the delusional output of safe-playing wannabe mavericks. Formulaic thinking and process-driven mentalities is what defines them. As a result you get to see wanky conclusions dressed up as mind-blowing discoveries. People who engaged in such behaviour in the 16th century were convicted as witches and sentenced to death. People who engage in such behaviour in the 21st century are viewed as experts and are promoted.
However, here at the Global HQ of the blog in pink font there’s only one principle we pink font lovers value:
If you’re not prepared to be wrong, you’ll never come up with anything original.
